1.Who These Terms Bind

This site is operated by The Movie Version ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing themovieversion.com or submitting an inquiry through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site.

If you are using the site on behalf of a company, a church, a venue, or anyone other than yourself, you are confirming that you have the authority to accept these terms for them.

2.What This Site Is

themovieversion.com is a catalog and an intake surface. It exists to show the works we make, explain how each one gets made, and let you tell us about a production you have in mind. That is the whole of it.

No transaction happens on this domain. We do not take payment, process card details, hold funds, or sell anything here. Where a work is purchasable, the link goes out to share.stream, which is a separate platform with its own terms and its own privacy policy. Billing on a commissioned project runs through a separate payment portal. Nothing you do on this site charges you anything.

3.Nothing Here Is a Price or an Offer

The site deliberately carries no pricing. Descriptions of works, formats, crews, or capabilities are editorial — they are not an offer, a quote, a bid, or a commitment to perform any particular work at any particular cost.

Pricing is issued only after an assessment of a specific production, in a separate written document. Until you have that document and we have both agreed to it, nothing on this site or in an inquiry reply creates a contract, reserves a date, or obligates either of us.

4.Submitting an Inquiry

The Start a Production form asks for details about a production — where, roughly when, roughly what scale. When you submit it:

• You confirm the information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You confirm you are at least 18 years old.
• You consent to us contacting you about that inquiry, at the email address and phone number you provide.
• You understand that submitting an inquiry is not a booking. We may decline any inquiry, for any reason or none, and we are not obliged to explain why.

Consenting to be contacted about an inquiry is separate from opting in to marketing. The marketing checkbox is optional, off by default, and you can withdraw it at any time — see the Privacy Policy.

5.What You Send Us

The inquiry form lets you attach reference files and write free-form notes. For anything you send us — files, notes, images, descriptions, a scene you have in mind:

• You keep ownership of it. We do not claim your material.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, and internally review that material for the purpose of assessing and responding to your inquiry, and — if the project goes ahead — of producing the work you asked for.
• You confirm you have the right to send it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
• You agree not to send us confidential material, trade secrets, or anyone's personal information other than your own, through this form. It is an intake form, not a secure channel.

If you send us an unsolicited creative idea, concept, treatment, or pitch, you agree it is non-confidential and that we owe you nothing for it. We develop works independently and across many properties at once, and some of them will inevitably resemble ideas we have been sent.

6.Our Work and Our Canon

The site's contents — the catalog, the work descriptions, the canon and lore reference, the copy, the design, the logos and marks, the photography, and the underlying code — are ours or our licensors', and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may read the site, and you may share links to it. You may not copy, republish, scrape, mirror, resell, or build a derivative catalog from it, and you may not use it to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission. This catalog is proprietary and not yet public in full.

7.Third-Party Titles and Names

Our works reference existing films, shows, books, and plays. Where a third-party title, character, or trademark appears on this site, it is used to identify the original work being referenced. It does not imply that the rights holder endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with us, except where we say so explicitly. Rights in each underlying property are handled per project, and nothing on this site is a representation about who holds them.

8.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or automated inquiries, or use the form to send advertising, spam, or solicitations.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download the site, or access it by any automated means other than a search engine obeying our robots directives.
• Attempt to probe, breach, overload, or interfere with the site or the systems behind it.
• Upload anything containing malware, or any file designed to damage or compromise a system.
• Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation.

We run automated controls against form abuse, and we may block, rate-limit, or refuse service to any visitor or submission at our discretion.

9.Sites We Link To

We link out to share.stream, AWWDITIONS, streaming platforms, and our social accounts. We do not control those services. Their terms and privacy policies govern what happens there, not ours, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Read their terms before you buy anything or hand over information.

10.No Warranty

The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that any description is complete or current, or that any work shown will remain available. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Movie Version and its officers, employees, contractors, and performers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or connected to your use of this site — whether the claim is in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability arising out of or connected to your use of this site will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US$100). This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and it is separate from any terms in a signed production agreement, which govern that project on their own terms.

12.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Movie Version from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or material you submitted through the inquiry form that infringes someone else's rights.

13.Changes

We may change the site, the catalog, or these terms at any time. When we change these terms in substance, we update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the revised terms. If you do not, stop using the site.

14.Governing Law and Disputes

The governing law and venue for these terms have not been finalised. Until they are, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the site is governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which The Movie Version is organised. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
